TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a standardized test of English language proficiency test managed by ETS. The TOEFL test is recognized by more than 10,000 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries around the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. TOEFL can help get to the country you want to study. Since TOEFL was made internet –based it has witnessed a considerable changes and progressively replaced Computer-based test (CBT) and paper-based test (PBT). TOEFL iBT was first introduced in the United States, Canada, France, Germany and Italy in 2005 in gradual phases, and to then to world over in 2006.

The test is for four hours and it consists of four sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing. Each section tests the English-language skill necessary for academic setting at the university level.
